Qantas Rewards Store MEL

There were a few people in the store last week. This was Friday and Monday afternoon.

If people are going into and out of MEL, it's 100 points per visit (so if you really wanted to go there every day you could).

I did see it open the other day.. a Sunday around 4:30pm... I did not see anyone in there so decided to give it a miss.

I noticed last week that United has a store at EWR with a very similar concept. I wonder if that's where Qantas got the idea from?

FWIW, I didn't see any customers in United's miles shop.

It's like there isn't such a thing like using a telephone and calling 13 13 13.
For those in the area without status, it might be quicker to do so, if you could have things like this done in person.
I "signed up" to get my 100 points. Was told it might take 6 or 8 weeks (or something as long) to get them.

Visited yesterday and today for my 100 points per visit. Didn't see any customers so hope it survives.

Back Thursday for another 100 points.

I thought it was predetermined that it was just a pop up shop.

I spoke to the staff member there today when getting my card scanned and he said it was going to be there until 30 June.

He remembered me from yesterday.

And my 400 points have posted yesterday from the four visits over the first two weeks of April...

I do Mel-Syd weekly, have scanned countless times, just started receiving points - no visit date mentioned - and points are coming in lots of two separate entries , so assume they are now batch processing in weekly lots.

The lady said yep can still scan up tp 30 Jun, and no word yet on whether the store will remain after this date.

Points from Saturday had already posted yesterday...
