Hello,

I've got a few QF flights booked in the coming months as a Gold (some of which are at the back of the (Air)bus). I noticed when selecting seats for some of these flights in Y, QF charges me anywhere from $15 to $30 to select an exit row seat. Is that normal as a QF Gold? Do these plush seats become available at T-80 for us Golds? What about if I was a World Platinum or Platinum One member?

I was just offered an exit row for no cost on a domestic Y booking in November, WP.

They didn't have one available, mind you

Yes this is normal. Complimentary exit row seating is only available for Platinum One members. There is no T-80 for free exit row seats, they are still chargeable.

WPs lost free exit row seat selection quite some time ago. Probably when WP1 was introduced.
