Qantas starts selling cigarettes inflight after 10 years

I don't see a problem in selling cigarettes on the aircraft. After all as someone else mentioned you can purchase them on the ground before and after the flight. So why not allow QF to make some extra profit.

Now I would be really concerned if they allowed smoking again in the aircraft cabin. As a reformed smoker I much prefer a cigarette free environment....

Seeing as brothels are legal in most (all?) states, why doesn't Qantas fit out the new 380's with themed private rooms for that mile-high experience.

They would make a mint and it is all legal so it must be OK.

Like cough!

That would take going up and down in a plane to a whole new concept.

So would they cater to all comers? (oh the pun! :p ).

I mean what about a man who wants to be with a man (not that there's anything wrong with that)? A woman who wants to be with a man (just a gigolo everywhere I go ;) ) ? A woman who wants to be with a woman? And any other combination you could conceive (hopefully this will not happen on board!).

Pre booking would be required and it could give new meaning to upgrades. What happens if a customer takes too long?

Me thinks there would be a lot of issues to be dealt with prior to take off.
