Qantas Status Credits Boost

Just received 600SCs on March 1, after an end-of-February end of my status year. This was unexpected; I've lost track of the various bonuses and Status extensions  , but I thought end of Feb year was the cut-off for the full year's extension (which takes me to end of Feb 2022) and those post February got the monthly bonuses..

EDIT: Ah, just found it. It was one of the early announcements, and my year end is the last that's eligible. So, 600 SCs more to retain Plat by end Feb 2022. Hmmm ...

So much has happened and changed, and changed again, it can be hard to keep up. I have the same anniversary month as you and was expecting the 600 SC. Also received 100 SC from Points Club rollover. Nevertheless it will be hard to “won’t happen” to earn another 500 SC on domestic flights alone. (My next international flight won’t be until March next year.) I am hopeful we will also be offered the one flight option to retain status at some stage towards the end of the year.

If QF does a Double SC promo that would help with earning SC on domestic flights but it still wouldn't be cheap.
There's already sort of a limited double SC promo ... but not really ... as the first flight can extend status anyway.

Some SC earned this "year" can count for next "year" though.

If Qantas ran a DSC soon I would book a stack of classic awards for the Points Club earn...
