SIN-LHR is 200 miles longer then AKL-LAX, which QF has used A330s on before.
Good to know!! Means that Qantas have a reasonable number of smaller wide-body twins to take over from the double-deckers on pretty much all routes. Got to be some savings there in capacity and therefore cost per seat/km

The reduction in PE availability may or may not be an issue for many where the A330s replace A380/B787 routes. It could all be moot if there is a further shutdown of intetnational flights.
