QANTAS talking to the disaffected!

Perhaps QF should talk with the SG/WP who regularly earn status with 4 or 5 ~ each year?
Since they are apparently still extensively wandering (just not with QF/JQ/3K)

Domestic I’m usually about 50% with QF to be in the first batch, VA I reckon I’m about 80-90% to be out in the first dozen or so bags.
QR, EY and BA have been my most reliable in long haul and I’ve found SQ pretty hit or miss

I'm 3 out of 3 for first five bags out for QF since May.

First off the belt for a BA flight; fourth for the other.

JQ lost my case for four days then actually argued that I should pay for a courier to send it to my house until I explained how things were actually going to operate.

I dread to think how this month's flights are going to go. That said, two are SQ, so should get a point of comparison (that said, am only *A gold, not PPS or any big mover or shaker).

They're still cough, though. Don't think I've forgiven them for knocking me from my seat on my flight I hit WP on earlier in the year.

But even paying peanuts when you take on a job you have got to perform that job. What the baggage handlers get away with is beyond a joke.
Would (or should) the priority be coded in the barcode and the belt system manage that automatically both at the departure and destination points? I.e. load the priority bags as a group at a time / in a location in the hold that allows early unloading & delivery?

The business rule is simple. What's the complexity that would prevent this happening at least most of the time?

One morning I happened to have a direct view to the VAd baggage handlers loading the aircraft. The bags were in a miscellaneous order in the trolleys but the two guys separated those with a colourful business/priority tag and loaded them last. That was a manual activity based on noticing a certain tag and it was good to see they did it diligently. But really, this could have been systemised 20+ years ago...

Ive just had a thought. Having more on demand/ personalised transfers at SYD / BNE should be a thing for high status / J pax for dom - int transfers.

MEL is next door so I don't think its necessary but waiting for the transfer bus and getting crowded on seems quite subpar for an experience if you're starting a J holiday for example.
