Qantas ticket holder/sleeve

Is it maybe something you could make yourself with photoshop, a printer, and some sticky-tape?

Can't quite remember what my attention to detail was like at age 7...

Hi KSC... I bought about this but the price is a bit higher than I wanted to pay as I don’t think he will get much use out of it yet (he’s 7).... and points wise it’s a comparable spend to the business reward flight ;)
Although the QF store is of-loading their most popular toaster for a similar amount of points (under 30,000), but you may need to be quick. 😀

So this is about a 7 year old lad? :)

My advice is the following:

If any AFF'rs can provide a bp holder, fantastic.

Obviously, take a gazzillion photos - these will be a treasured thing in the future.

Don't expect much from QF pre - flight (ie when confronting the QF internet distant behemoth), but when you board, let the staff know about this - your child's fascination with 747's, etc. In my experience, despite some staff being tired and jaded from time to time, with QF they always lift their game to a stellar level when something different or special arises :) Maybe a polite request to get photo with the Captain? I have not met a QF captain who would decline this! In this tender personal aspect I think QF really shines :)

We searched high & low I’m afraid they don’t exist anymore.

He is going to lose his mind as he is 747 mad and has been known to break down crying because he won’t get to fly on the 747s before they disappear (ok dad may be a bit excited too as I have never been on one either...QF if you read this PLEASE don’t do an equipment swap :s).
I have the opposite problem: QF 747s seem to just appear for many of my recent bookings.

I think I have one of the gold First BP sleeves at home if you still haven't found anything.

The J ones used to be an anthracite colour IIRC.

When I go into the change seats option now, however, it says you can’t select seats on this flight. It still shows our seats as 16K and J in the app so I’m hoping we don’t get moved!
That will be because you are a nobody and the seats were reward seats. You may be able to change them by using the chat feature on the website

@Jobeki111 I have previously used this site
to generate a dummy boarding pass when giving flights as a gift.

The dummy BP is very “old school” but there is a Qantas option.
Now, that one looks very realistic, ala 1990s, had one that looked like that, when I flew SQ, of course without the French wordings.
Flew SQ more recently, and their more modern these days BP looks very different.

Hmmm ... I cannot find any white/red ones.

I have this from the Mid 90's (in fact several of them):20191215_095611.jpg
