Qantas to launch in-depth partnership with Accor ALL

you need 30 to renew Gold

Or to have stayed in some of the more expensive properties fewer nights.

And if you are Plus you get given credit for 20 nights, so only need actually stay 10.

Yeah, I considered purchasing Accor Plus but decided it wasn't worth it for me as I won't be spending much time in Asia-Pacific this year. For others it could definitely make sense though.

Sadly My Accor Gold that I got via the QF promo expired 31/12/2023. assume that the same for everyone ?
Well mine fairly coughpily only lasted for 6 months and expired on 30 Jun 2023 when I renewed my Accor Plus membership. I wasn't very happy, but did not chase it up as who has the time for that, and then I had some bad health news that took up whatever time I may have had. I heard other Accor Plus members had a similar experience.

Joining Accor Plus for the first time carries your status forward another 12 months. I found this out by accident. If you had joined last month you would have kept Gold until Dec 2024, no stays required. I joined while I was in Bali and paid the Indonesian membership fee of $420 which includes 2 free nights.

Huh. I thought you maintained the status as long as you were QF WP.

I didn't have a single stay last year, as I focus on Hilton Diamond. Was thinking about switching but now, maybe not.

It’s hard to tell what has happened with me. It now says my Gold expires on 30/04/2024 which is when my Accor Plus membership expires. I got the Gold from Qantas for being Points Club Plus. Maybe like Aikman and Princess Fiona said my status was extended from joining Accor Plus last year.

The app talks about me needing to achieve X nights by 31 December 2024 to keep my status.

Wouldn’t that only be Silver?

Wasn’t the Gold status a Fastrack thing a one off? I vaguely recall registering but it went into a Blackhole.

Ibis Biz was an easier and guaranteed path to ALL Gold (albeit for a fee).

If you're Accor Plus your status review takes place when you renew (or not) your Accor Plus membership.

Hrm.

I got Accor Platinum as P1.
I then enrolled in Accor Plus thanks to Amex Plat
My Accor Platinum remains to my Amex anniversary date (September)
I did not get 2 more SNUs, even after earning ~8,000 points the last week of December.

Responses above (I think) say I’ll keep platinum beyond September if I remain in Accor Plus… great!

I also took up Accor Plus (Traveller) when they had a discount promotion in November @aikman and my Gold was extended despite not having stayed 10 nights ( given 20 for joining)
Doesn't give me the free night, but was after the Dining offer.
Yours sounds like a good deal!

Its hard to figure out with accor sometimes because Accor plus isn't linked to ALL loyalty and the app and tracker is absolute trash at telling you. AFAIK, ALL loyalty anniversary is always calculated for Jan 1 - Dec 31.

However Accor Plus and other bonuses are when you signed up/renewed.

This isn't accurate if you have an Accor Plus sub. It can shift your renewal window in your favour when you don't hit your ALL retain renewal target.

I have Accor plus, i just had ALL loyalty reset a few days ago but my app shows renewal and reset at my Accor Plus anniversary.

The only way this should happen is if your Accor Plus subscription renews in December, in line with the calendar year.

The app is terrible at explaining it. The first one is the more obvious one that shows up, the second is if you click for more details.
