Qantas to release thousands of Classic Reward seats in Y, PE, J, F on 24 Feb 2023 around 11am

I would have thought QF seats would have been released.

I'm hoping for (more) QF seats to be released at 11am AEDST - I've been refreshing non-stop since this morning when I logged on (wfh).

So far for my leg that I'm looking to change (Singapore > Melbourne), the JQ flight I'm already on is coming up, a new economy classic reward seat via Jakarta has just come up, and a new CX business seat via HK is coming up.

Although, as said earlier I'm not willing to fly from Singapore to Melbourne just for the sake of being in business.

I'd be happy with QF economy direct to Melbourne from Singapore. If there's business, even better but I'm definitely not holding my breath considering not even a QF economy seat is coming up (other than JQ to Jakarta and then QF from Jakarta).

I just booked a flight, got up to the entering my credit card details, which I did, and then when I hit next I got the 500 error . So my booking has been created (I have a booking number) but it didn't deducted the QFF points and when I try and manage the booking it just gives me an error page.
Can you call them to see if you can just pay that itinerary on credit card?

At least you have a booking reference. You could try calling Qantas and processing the payment over the phone.

As people have reported that the award flights have been released early, I've been trying and just get a succession of different error messages:

That last one just hangs on the results page without displaying anything.

edit: Another one to add to the collection:

Nothing loaded on the site for that route currently. 6 minutes to go.
Same here with the following: "

500 - that's an error at our end

It looks like something went wrong with our system. Try reloading the page and it should work, otherwise head back to the homepage. "

I noticed that some seats were uploaded around 9 this morning

It is just cough isn't it? AJ should be ashamed.

My Expert Flyer alerts for JNB-SYD came through late last night with multiple J available throughout August. Between 500 errors I managed to book our dates but this morning I noted that they'd all disappeared again (surely every seat, every date didn't sell overnight?) before the website completely borked it.

Hahaha, well that was a load of totally predictable Qantas bōllocks.
500 errors all over the place. I'm going back to my work desk!

I think I preferred last year when we couldn't log on but could see what was available. There was time to search options whilst they restored access to the website.

I knew the moment I saw the email the site would crash when everyone flooded it and sure enough, nada.

By the time any of us are lucky enough to find anything it'll be either gone or probably glitch out of our carts.
