Qantas to resume Sapporo flights

Interesting that the promo email leans into the "100th destination" schtick...

QF 100 or 99.jpg
^The number of destinations correct as at 20 January 2025, but is subject to change.

The 100 won't be true on 15 December, with the imminent loss of Seoul.
Just like a B-717 retirement, they'll be able to trot out the 100th destination again!

Also doesn't make sense given this route did fly iirc in 2019-2020 season albeit only for a short while.

I had a feeling they would resume either CTS or KIX, but expected any such announcement to happen at the same time as they confirm the MEL/BNE flights shifting to HND.

“Return Economy fares from Sydney to Sapporo will be available at qantas.com later this morning and include checked baggage allowance, food and beverages and inflight entertainment.“

I beg to differ Qantas. As at 2000AEST:

Straight to the IT glitch thread for you!

Maybe QF didn’t want to wait that long? Waiting …. Waiting ….

I think this adds more weight to the likelihood QF drops to 3 services all to HND once the change happens. I don't see QF having the planes for 3 HND 1 NRT and 1 CTS next summer unless they can some more 330 flights whilst some of them are being refurbished.
I don’t think so, this service is operated by 332s which will be spare from the BNE-LAX changes and they still have the QF87 bird
