The 737s shouldn't need as much content as wide bodies, but I think what is frustrating is that the system goes out of its way to display content only available on the app, tells us to download the app, yet you need to have downloaded it in advance because there isn't yet Wifi on Trans-Tasman.

The JetConnect 73H services I’ve been on last few months have all made announcements to download the app prior to departure.

Of course that doesn’t help you if you haven’t brought an iPad on board!

I did try and see if there was a Qantas Entertainment for my laptop but there wasn't, so (with no iPad and it not being practical to watch anything on my phone) I had to make do with what was there.
