Searching multi-city, rewards 🙄For some reason Qantas website won't recognise 'Doha'? What am I missing please?
It doesn't recognise Doha at all in multi-city search?! Single destination search (departing Indonesia) recognises Doha but won't complete the search. Forced to try and search day by day and keep getting the following message.Screenshot_20240309-164538_Qantas.jpg

Qantas' relationship with Qatar Airways has hit a new low...
😉

Qatar only usually release economy flights on QF awards, and there may well be none available within your search parameters.
You could confirm this by trying dates outside the month of June ?
Also it is Haj to Mecca 14-19th June.

Have since discovered the website does not recognise Doha as a destination even in a 'paid fare', multi- city search?

That's for sure, when the website doesn't even recognise the country!

Working fine for me. Did OP click through as a Reward search?

But you can’t search “From” Doha online. I believe it’s a pricing issue for fares originating in DOH (but you can book Oz-DOH return).

Glad to see that I am not the only one having issues with the QF website and Doha - if you find any solutions please let me know! Total pain in the butt!

Fairly sure this isn’t new. From memory the solution was having to call and search that way…

As mentioned earlier, I believe it’s an issue with QF not having a sales office that can process payments in Qatari Riyal. So one ways or multi sector originating in DOH can’t be booked online.

No issue booking flights to Doha.

It’s not unique. Look at EZE amongst others.

I was trying to book SIN-DOH-CAI and when putting DOH in the destination it wouldn't recognise it - it was D'oh instead of DOH unfortunately.

Well multi-city search for classic award flight does recognize it:

QF SIN site supports payments in Singaporean Dollars; they dont support payments of ME currencies online.

But for a cash fare if you want to book a code share (if there is even one on those 2 routes) you will need to book via a TA.

Can do points fares, but it won't allow cash fares as you said. Definitely fares available on that route according to the QR website including some J fares that are great value for SC's earned.

You need a TA. QF doesn’t codeshare on QR.

For a simple booking like that why wouldn’t you just book it through QR or am I missping something?

Whole trip is SYD-SIN on QF then SIN-DOH-CAI on QR - and return - wanted to get it all on the one PNR so as I get the QR baggage allowance for the entire trip as QR will be the Most Significant Carrier, and so that it is all linked in case there are any delays along the way.

You are going to need a TA then in that case.
Don’t waste your time calling QF as they won’t be able to do it anyway
