Qantas website not working to find points flights

Searching with “multi flight” brings up a calendar. You can enter just one flight or break flight up into each leg. Ie AU to HKG then HKG to EU. Or AU to SIN then SIN to EU.
Thanks, this is actually a great way of finding award flights. I managed to get MEL-HKG and then HKG-TPE-AMS in Business. I could not find anything trying to go MEL-AMS (or anywhere else in EUR), but it's there if you look for individual legs. Flights on different tickets, so will need to collect bags in HKG, but that's a small price to pay.

Were you able to book these flights?
I have tried to book say A-B non stop on the website and found nothing but
I was able to choose individual sectors from A-B via C and D ( without a stopover )and requested QFF to ticket them but they refused !
They told me you need to search for A-B only - not join up several available sectors that would achieve the same purpose but did not appear on the simple A-B search.
Maybe things have changed.

Isn’t that the whole purpose of DSC status runs and we have two entire threads about those?

Would be interesting to see what routing they refuse to ticket, and maybe have @madrooster commenting on it.

Yes, I booked the flights.

My 2 experiences in the last 6 months involved

1- trying to fly Athens back to Australia I found the flights Rome to Helsinki to SIngapore and onto Sydney. I rang QFF as the booking was already in existence - no , the only way they could book it was to enter origin and destination and the options I found by multi city search did not show up for him so no go!

2 - getting from LHR to MEL via Singapore - business seats available LHR - SIN - SYD - MEL but again, on the agent putting in LHR to MEL - only economy seats available SYD-MEL so no go!

Maybe I have been unlucky in getting bad agents - both in Hobart and they are usually very competent!

Multi-city tool has been failing to locate options for me the past week with almost any dates/itinerary including DXB.
Is this a sign of something to come?? Waiting for updated schedules?

Had you been able to find those previously? I thought QF deliberately withdrew the ability to search to/from DXB. (Can't remember details, but I thought it was another QF IT glitch but someone here corrected with something along the lines of it being a QF decision.)

Oh that explains. I found a F Reward on EK MEL-SIN-DXB-LHR .kept getinng an error message, call the contact centre. They were unhelpful insisting it was unavailable on there systems. this went on for days. I tried to raise an issue with the website but they were just brushing me off in email after email. Anyway, rolled the dice and made the booking - the only way it would go through is to do the DXB-LHR element on a seperate booking. This seemed to stop the error.
