What are member's current experience with points posting timing after Qantas Wine purchases?

I seem to remember the points arriving into the QFF account before the wine arrived at the door. However, for my most recent purchase the points are still yet to be seen, even though the order confirmation clearly shows that the points were earned with the purchase (so QF Wine must have my QFF details as part of the order).

I know the T&C states up to 6 weeks, but previous experience was that is took a few days for the points. Its still under 3 weeks since my order, so no point chasing QFF/QFW yet. Just wanted to have a current baseline to compare with other people's experiences.

I haven't orderd any wine for a while, but as for you they used to post within a day or two, and as I'm in Perth, it was often before I received the wine...

I actually called today as points from 11/4/22 haven't been credited yet and was told it will be 3-6 weeks as there systems change over and they catch up...whatever that means.

Qantas wine FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions | Qantas Wine) say the below, however I have received no points or bonus points from last purchase. I posted last week about the terrible website changes however the other thing I forgot to post is that previous order history has been completely erased. Things with Qantas wine are going well! not sure why they needed to change.

I had a problem 2 or 3 of months back with the points not crediting. So I rang the support number and got the Philippines, who were totally dismissive and unhelpful.

So I rang the Australian number and got a very helpful agent who said that there had been a number of complaints about points not posting and would follow up for me. After a couple of weeks, this agent emailed me to say that the points had now posted.

I've made another purchase recently and the same story is playing out. I will have to call the Australian number shortly and try to get their assistance. It seems to me that Qantas Wine is very much like the rest of Qantas at the moment.

Just on the Qantas Wine website for the first time in a while. I notice they've recently changed the ecommerce platform (now using the same platform as the Qantas Store, which was also changed in the last year or so). From experience with the Qantas Store, the new platform sucks - it's got horrible UI/UX, very buggy and points post super slowly from it so definitely a downgrade (typical Qantas "enhancement" in the scheme of things).

Just to update, I received the points a couple of days ago, so not too bad really. Didn't need prompting either...

My points arrived too (or perhaps better grammar would be two, or perhaps accurate maths would be three ... shhhh ... say no more). Occasionally there is a win when the work experience lad was involved in the programming.

I know what you mean, but I was too coy to mention it. Maybe it's secret compo...

I've bought another item from QF Wine recently, and the points were credited the day after order. Go figure...

Nudge, Nudge, Wink, Wink ... Say no more. A nod's as good as a wink to a blind bat ;)

Sounds like the IT department work experience kid might have been called back to fix the problem ;)

If you post about it they will.....🤫

As we used to say ... Don't mention the bus ;) - I mentioned it once, but I think I got away with it.

Hmm, that's one Monty Python and one Faulty Towers reference in the one thread ... must be showing my age (or does the bus reference show my age??). Either way, its time to open the next Qantas Wine delivery.

Well, here's another crazy situation.

I placed two orders last week, on the 8th and 11th of November. Both have now been delivered, with the order of the 11th arriving today, along with the points in my account. However, the points from the earlier order are nowhere to be seen.

What sort of "system" would allow this sort of nonsense to happen?

Similar situation to the OP here... wine bought 2.5 weeks ago and still no points, when previously (3 purchases in 2021) the points arrived on the same day or the day before the wine did. And I'm in Sydney. Whatever the issue is, it seems like it's (a) still not fixed and (b) intermittent?

Points still nowhere to be seen.

I've spoken to the Qantas Wine team again and advised them that I will be returning the case of wine unopened for a refund if the points don't show up by the end of the week.

We'll see what happens, but I'm not hopeful.

This whole experience has put me off buying Qantas wine again.

I purchased two different cases on the 9th November and the points for both posted on the 13th. Wine was delivered a few days later.

Yes, this also happened with a purchase I made on 13 November. No consistency, but we can't be complacent.
Well the points for the purchase of 8 November landed today, but only because I constantly badgered them.

It seems that the Qantas Wine team has been off-shored to Manila, which can't help.

Service yes, but sales is Australian. At least when I spoke with them in the last week, they were.
Whenever I've spoken to Sales recently, it's been someone with a Philippines accent. Maybe just unlucky.

What Phone No. did you use?
