Qantas Wine latest offering

Okay, to me these are offers right in the sweet spot for my wallet and what we need at home (and for clients). More here: https://www.qantasepiqure.com.au/va...=Product3&utm_campaign=varietalcases_20170222

One can get a case of 6 Voyager and the others are thrown in for drinking ;). I picked up 2 of the Sauv Blanc for home as well as the Shiraz & Cabernet cases for clients. I might just take out the Voyager ;).

So I get the expected email from Epiqure

Hi QF WP,

Great news, your package is on its way.

It gives me a tracking number and a link to Aust Post to "track this package". However, when I click on the link, that page says:
Invalid tracking number

That doesn't instill me with a lot of confidence. Don't know if I could be bothered to ring them up, as I'm waiting on another email for the other 2 cases I bought. I think I'll hold off (because knowing my luck, it'll have a wrong tracking number as well).

Anybody else had this issue lately (they did upgrade their system 10 days ago, not sure if it could be because of it)?

Sometimes the tracking numbers are issued before they are searchable in the Aust Post system. I've had that happen a few times before (only ordered once from Epiqure so can't remember if it was the case specifically with them). They kick in a few hours later, or sometimes the next day.

This has been my experience also

I've seen this happen on multiple occasions from different senders.

It usually means the number has been created but there is no further progress. Eg I create all my shipping labels online but nothing will happen till I lodge the parcels with the post office.

Thank your all for your comments that certainly make some sense to the unitiatied. Still showing invalid although the email was sent on Saturday. One would wonder why they send it out before the carton has been lodged with the courier (AusPost in this case).

Right you all were - it finally showed up last night - and found a FAQ on their website it as well.

So the first one is on its way. Received the second email yesterday, so will wait a couple of days before checking it.

Thankfully the first 2 x 6-packs showed up yesterday AM, so extracted the Voyager Estate from both and took to a client and his accountant as we were about to have a big meeting. Gratefully received ;)

Now just waiting on the second shipment of 2 x 6 packs, so I can take the final 2 home and cellar them.

This is not unusual. It just means that Australia Post has not scanned the package. Possibly the package has been delivered to or collected by Australia Post but their very efficient $6M system managers have been having lunch and have not been bothered to scan the bar code yet. Happens all the time for shipments to us from various suppliers.

I ordered a doz of the Skillogalee Shiraz last week from EpiQure. Received an email saying they were on the way Sat 25th.
Checked the tracking link from the email and Oz Post stated they received shipping info by 6.34 pm Mon 27th and it was in transit 8.58 am Tues 28th.

Still waiting but not really expecting it until next week

I had a similar issue with a delivery using nexday, showed up at being in their depot in Queanbeyan on the friday, I didn't receive it until the middle of the next week.

Seems the second case has made it to the Distribution depot at Pinkenba this morning, but somehow went down to Underwood this afternoon, presumably to the distribution centre there. Oh well, tomorrow is the slated delivery date.

It would appear the 8,000 bonus points are not so bonus on the "The Dream Mixed Red Dozen". It's $282, yet for $96 you can get half the contents in the "The Dream Shiraz Mixed 6" for $96 and it looks pretty good.

Ok, saga has started.
Fastway delivered one of the two cases I ordered yesterday. I was home and the Courier knocked on my door and left before I answered it.
The tracking and order number state that the two cases have been delivered.
I called up Epiqure immediately after this happened yesterday but no response so far.
It's being escalated to a "supervisor" whatever that means. :(
