Qantas Wine latest offering

I ordered a dozen bottles of wine and a bottle of champagne. The wine arrived last Wednesday, when should I start chasing the missing champagne. It appears they were dispatched at the same time but under different delivery dockets.

It says delivered... Me thinks Postman Pat has taken a5 finger discount on my $100 bottle of champagne. I'll let you know how I go with epiqure

Interesting.
Epiqure half dozen $317.94, DM $292.80.
$25.14 difference.
951 point difference from Epiqure.
Is 2.64c per point worth it?
Also on a 1 point per $1 cc, you earn 25 extra points.
(changes overall to 2.58c per point)

I guess another option would be to try and meet halfway, eg if BWS can match the DM price so you can get the EDR earn of 262 points..

There is also a freight component to the DM offer. What does it cost you to pick up or have delivered ?

The Epiqure price include del to your door

I wonder how many boxes of the Festive Season Mixed Dozen + free limited edition Jacobs Creek Shiraz survived their trips, given the thirteenth bottle is stuffed sideways in a box made for 12! Asking for trouble!

This is the status of my replacement 13 originally ordered a month ago (in fairness the other 3 cartons of similar as well as four cartons of different combos arrived safely):

11/07/13 11:53 In Transit MELBOURNE VIC
10/07/13 13:07 Item damaged - awaiting assessment UNDERWOOD QLD
04/07/13 16:58 Shipment information approved SUNSHINE WEST VIC
04/07/13 16:15 Shipment information received SUNSHINE WEST VIC

IME, DM's delivery is $7 to metro areas for a case of 12. Spend over $300 though and delivery is free.

Just an update from my missing champagne. It arrived today as epiQure advised me this morning. It was under a separate delivery docket but they only sent me one originally in the email. Apparently it takes an extra ten days for Australia Post to deliver one bottle of wine compared to a dozen? I retract my thoughts on the honesty of Australia Post contractors.

Just an update on this... it's now over 6 weeks since i ordered in conjunction with the bonus 3000 points offer, and no bonus points have arrived. Assume I will have to chase up again. Second time this has happened - Epiqure does have form with non crediting of bonus points, this also occurred in October 2012 re non accreditation of bonus points associated with Shaw and Smith savvy)
I just had a somewhat frustrating conversation with Epiqure. They rang me to follow up on a 'where is my wine' query / request for crediting of 3000 bonus points I sent through to RedRoo earlier this month after I purchased 2 dozen bottles to the value of $420 from the cellar sale section in early June. The bloke I spoke to at Epiqure insisted that I was only entitled to the base points, that no bonus points were due to be credited to my account, and was not aware about the 3000 bonus points offer until I directed him to the advertising on the Epiqure website. He is now following up with head office to "confirm" the status. Quite frustrating, as this is the second time I've had to chase Epiqure for bonus points I've been entitled to not being credited. Took 3 weeks for the wine to arrive too :(

This offer was valid until the end of the F/Y. The points could take up to 6 weeks which is mid Aug.

I wouldn't panic just yet

Yes, however I ordered on 1 June. My understanding is that posting of bonus points is based on the date of an individual order placement, not the end date of the offer validity period.

Add me to the list of 3K point receivers today. I purchased on 4 June (from the 1 June wine clearance email with 3K bonus points for > $300 spent between 1/6 and 30/6).

Bet adelee has their points today as well :D

Add me to the list. 2 purchases, both over the $300 on 2/6 and 3/6 - and the bonus posted as a single item for 6,000 points.

Sure did - wonder if a Red Roo was monitoring this thread? Seems like a bit of a coincidence.
