I tried the Margaret River Stonefish Reserve Chardonnay 2022 and was underwhelmed. After one glass it's back in the fridge.

So a good points earner, but the quality of the wines is questionable (even my wife wouldn't like it).

Well. I decided to try the chardonnay again with dinner tonight, and, really, it was quite nice. Just needed to condition it and myself.

These will likely be end of year presents, so not in a hurry for the wine particularly. Just curious if more experienced buyers think there may be better deals down the track that you would hold out for.

Not sure you can stack the 5,000 point for first purchase with a $50 voucher, but great value if you can!!

I pure terms of point/$, this is a pretty good deal. There are similar offers that come around every few months, but not much better in terms of points/$.

Now, the points/$ value may not be directly related to the consumption pleasure of the free wine product they provide when you purchase the points. But the knowledge of the points earned helps to improve the wine appreciation a little beyond that which a true wine lover may otherwise suggest should be case.

In my experience, the mixed dozen packs in this price range are generally quite reasonable quality and most of my friends would be very happy to receive some as a gift, and perhaps keep some in the house for when guests visit.
