It works for me after I was show how.

You need to log into your Qantas App first and select your flight. Only the. Can you get the mags etc via the reader for free.

I hope I made sense.

That makes sense. the process needs to be initiated from the QFF app. There was a period where even after doing that I was being asked to pay. It was fixed at some stage, I thought it might have come back.

I found using press reader a little hit and miss affair
But worked well when it did -- especially when activated from within the Qantas App.

Although my Apple ID had come up several times. I dismissed and started over again.

Well, you are meant to launch it from the QF app.

Besides the technical issue that apparently affected everyone in January I've never had any issues using the service.

I first had problems back in August 2015. post #50 Mostly downhill from there. With the removal of News newspapers I've stopped even looking now.

It's either half broken or Qantas have limited it. Just downloaded one newspaper, try to download a second to have iTunes demand payment, despite the brought to you by Qantas notice.

back to paper copies I suppose.

Interesting those have been removed yet Vogue and GQ (both NewsLifeMedia properties) are still being offered.

Actually it's probably only News Australian news papers - The Oz, Advertiser, courier mail etc. Fairfax titles are apparently available, but I haven't looked at downloading for a few weeks.

do like that top gear and f1 magazines are available, as i fly at least once a month and always have the latest issue to read onboard :)

It is better than the Virgin version where you need to have lounge access, also lounge wifi can be up and down so being able to download at home is far better. I think virgin should change to the QANTAS version as it is far better.

Anyone else having problems accessing PressReader for free via the Qantas app today? I've tried on two different devices with two different QF accounts...

I had this issue a while ago and found I needed to update the App, checked today and there is an upgrade to the App.

no issues about three days ago.
