Qatar Airways - disgusting experience

I have flown them a few times recently (sin-doh-cai vv) and had brilliant flights with them. Have to say they were better than my flights with emirates.

I flew on them a few few months ago, 2x F fully paid flights and 2x J fully paid flights, 2 of the flights were on the 787 aircraft, 1 on A330, 1 on the A320, hands down QR's 787 J/F product is the best hard product out there it was absolutely fantastic. (PS I have not tried QF First so can't comment)

Only thing I didn't like was the lounge access rules in the premium terminal my flight out I was flying J connecting to F so I could access the F lounge in transit, when flying the reverse it was F connecting to a J flight and despite just arriving from an F flight, being a OWE and that F wasn't even offered on the connecting leg I was denied access to the F lounge! I believe this is now fixed with the new airport and the opening of the F lounge to OWE.

Haven't done Y on QR yet, maybe one day.

Certainly sounds like QR have a fantastic hard product.

Will be interesting to see what if any changes happen to their F lounge access rules now that the new facilities are open for business.
