Qatar Airways - how do they treat QFF status PAX and oneworld elites in general

I've only ever flown with them in J and F which were excellent, you may not get plat greeting like other OW airlines but at least you get top shelf service all the time in my experience.
The 787 J config is the best I've been on.
The Al Safwa First lounge (only F pax can access) is probably better than QF Syd F Lounge in my opinion the slumber rooms are better than most 5 star hotel rooms..

I've seen QR upgrade OW elites before from Y to J so upgrades do happen it seems.

Everything I needed to say..... but will add even the "bus" out to the plane is lovely.

Re the comment about QR flights not showing on QF activity statement, I have done 4 sectors on QR ADL-DOH-BRU and MUC-DOH-SYD which were all part of OW redemption tickets and ALL flights have not been posted (yet) to my QF activity, first two sectors Sept 16 and last 2 in Dec. but as they are non earning, there is no point in chasing them up with QF?

BA and QF are probably the only two carriers that automatically post non-earning flights (to QFF). Others generally don't.

I have heard of this rumoured quiet area but in all my visits, other than the relaxing chairs near the luggage store, I've never come across it.
This is a good review of the lounge, but as most do, they have missed the extremities Review: Qatar Airways Al Mourjan Business Class Lounge Doha Airport DOH - One Mile at a Time

The sleeping area is found just beyond the business centre. There is about 12 beds and they will bring blankets and pillows (sometimes you have to ask). Also, when you go down to the deli, you can turn right to go through to the toilets, a second lot of showers and a quiet room that is basically a sleeping room. If you turn left at the deli and go past the games room, you come to the family area which is about sectioned of areas for a family. The lounges are big enough to sleep on as well, but they will kick out people who are just there to sleep as it is for families.

I have found the wait times for the showers have blown out a huge amount (mainly because they are so good). We just went through 3 times and the shortest wait was 1.5 hours so get in early if you want to book it.

My recent QR MEL-DOH-CDG-DOH-MEL posted within 3 days of my arriving back in MEL - including the non-earning outbound sectors.

These lounge games of Qatar's are getting old. Stop thumbing your nose at oneworld policy.

The opposite end of the complex to the lockers and upstairs restuarant. There is another eatery down there as well and also a 'family' area which is a series of small rooms.

Very interesting.

Literally beds or something else?

What's in the rooms?

A large screen TV and several couches which you can spread out and sleep on.

The quiet area was full when we were there, best book in advance if you can.

Flew PER-LHR with QR in J last year - absolutely fantastic - walks all over QF J. Even the older 777 J seats were really good. The food service, where you can choose what you like when you like is great, and the lounges at Doha and LHR were incredible. Would most definitely fly them again.

I Travelled Qatar last April 3 out of 4 legs in Business, and one leg in economy. Business was great the 777-300 has 78" pitch. the Food out of Perth was brilliant. Business lounge in Doha is massive
