Qatar Avios on Qantas flight

Is it worth crediting qantas flights points to Qatar Avios?

Or is it substantially less than just crediting to Qantas points? I read an article from point hack before about this. But I can't find it

I can't even find which class of economy I have booked

Depends on what you intend to do with the points. I've begun crediting to QR as I can use the avios on BA, a currency accepted by BA, QR and IB (and can be used to book on their partner airlines)

I've noticed that there are not many value redemptions available on the Qatar site using AVIOS points.. It's around 180,000 points sydney to heathrow in J.

Is there an easy way to transfer QF points to avios?

You can’t transfer Qantas points to avios.

There is no way of converting QF points to any other point scheme
Previously you could transfer VA to Krisflyer but this has been on hold since the Bain takeover, possibly to return
