Qatar business and first class meals

All the times I've done multiple QR flights in a short time, the wine list has been the same. I wonder if you jagged a change-over?

In any case, would you like to comment on the in-flight wines - suggestions etc

From memory I've always got a variation on wines on different flights when connecting on QR.

I'm a big fan of champagne. So Had a bit of Charlie on the first flight and both on the second. On the second I had a glass of the Riesling at the bar. Was decent, but not amazing. On both flights I also had the Bordeaux. Both of them were fairly good, if served a little cold. I did have a small glass of the port with the sundae but was so tired I didn't pay too much attention to it.

Update... 1 hour later I'm now told the lamb isn't available. I asked what was... was told they would check. 5 minutes still nothing, so asked again and told they have lamb and they will cook but it will be 15 minutes. Absolute joke and not the usual I expect from QR.

Sorry, I should add that after waiting 10 minutes to be told what was available, I gave up and flagged someone down again to ask. I got up to head to the JAL lounge which is now open (opened at 7pm I think) and was begged not to go. Very strange situation.

Et voila ..... it's finally arrived.

QR F DOH - PER on Saturday. Tea in a teapot was a nice touch. Wines, next level. Food seemed quite similar to J apart from the canapes. Pre-departure you also get some cheese and olives followed by a date.

Currently in the SYD Qantas first lounge waiting for QR 909 just making sure the QR QF relationship is still amicable.
By the way the drop in the decanter is 2018 Levantine Hill cab sav and is excellent and is way better than the stuff on the main menu Cheers

It's like ground hog day ...... back here again, out of the sushi, so ordered the surf and turf medium (that's the moo'est they allow) and it came well done. Thankfully once I got further in, it was a bit more medium. But running out of food options again, how can they continue to get it so wrong? At least the food took 'only' 30 minutes to come, this time ;)
