Qatar onboard messaging?

Hi, does anyone know if Qatar has internal messaging system onboard? My daughter will be sitting in a different cabin from us and i wonder if we can message each other during flight. I read about their paid wifi, thats not exactly what i am after. I remember many years ago, there was onboard messaging thru the inflight entertainment system with SIA (not 100% sure). Have never flown Qatar before, so hopefully someone here has the info thanks!

No they don't. But if the wifi is working iMessage, Messenger or WhatsApp etc will work.
