QC lounge access flying BA

You can always pay for access to one of the lounges in Singapore, although for me personally I would not bother, given how awesome Changi is.
Travelling with a little one (and an even littler one!) would be tough though.

I'd say Priority Club or paid access as you say may be the way to go :)

As the OP's wife is flying BA, access will not be granted (must be QF Marketed).

Yes, this is correct.

Qantas Club members have access to our lounge in Sydney and Singapore if they’re departing on a Qantas, Emirates or eligible Jetstar flight. If travelling on a oneworld operated and marketed flight, lounge access is available to oneworld Sapphire and Emerald members only.

The associated lounge in London is available to Gold, Platinum and Platinum One members when travelling on a Qantas operated or oneworld flight number. In all cases, one guest is allowed.

I really must go to another airport - I just seen tired green/yellow carpet, kms of travelators and duty free shops - pretty much like any other airport. I transit there at night though.
At night it does lose some charm, imo. Then again, if you are travelling oneWorld you are almost exclusively using T1, whereas T3 is where you really want to be.

Whenever I fly through I waste the time by going on a long walk to T3, it really is lovely. There is also a butterfly garden and free movie theatre. Compared to other airports there is a shedload to do at Changi if you look!

Thanks for that clarification Red Roo.

I don't wish to deter you from chiming in again, but when you mention "In all cases one guest is allowed", can you say what the QF policy is on children as guests?

For instance, can (say) a babe in arms and a three year old be guested in as "one guest"? Or is it absolutely literal as ONE person? I'm not talking about lounge attendant's discretion; when may we say "we know this is allowed" when it comes to two children as 'guests' of their parent?

That is actually covered in their access policy on-line, in fact they have a nice little table for the various lounges. Click on the link below and go to families right at the bottom.

Yes, it is very clear.

Kudos to QF on their policy. Very disappointing though that a OW Emerald can't access a lounge traveling with wife and small child.:( I had assumed lounge access would be fine, but accept it is my fault for not checking the rules. Hopefully priority check in and fast track are still available - these make a big difference traveling with the small G's.

Does anyone know any way of getting the extra guest into the BA Lounge - some sort of guest voucher or pre-paid pass?

There are no PP lounges in T 5 or I'd use them as I have PP m'ship, and I cant see any other paid options?
