Your wish is QF’s command … the route is pretty much cooked in a couple of months.We have done QF9 and QF10 twice as domestic travellers. Too much proving we are domestic flyers so I doubt we would do it again. We flew from Adelaide to get to Melbourne to get to Perth as a tester. The plane was delayed and the walk to the terminal and then the baggage was very long. We won’t bother doing it again.

Likely they'll periodically rotate through to SYD as QF6/QF34. Or maybe even on standard domestic services if need be.Does anyone know what will happen to those 787s that operate QF9/10 post-July (since they won’t come from eastern Australia anymore)? Will they keep 2-3 787s dedicated for PER-LHR only as there are no other 787 routes from PER (excluding the other European flights that come from Sydney)
