Hi all,

Trying to book MEL-BNE-CHC-SYD-MEL in J with the following error, been in the QF phone queue for 40min so far, any help would be appreciated.

It looks from the screenshot like you are using the multi-city function.

IME this is quite glitchy and often more expensive as it calculates individual sectors.

I suggest you use the main screen and search MEL-CHC for your preferred dates and try to select the options via BNE and SYD.

The Qantas social media team were excellent, they saved the day and were able to do the booking for me, the call centre on the other hand... 70min in the queue and not even answered.

The QF to EK (codeshare) probably killed the autopricer.

As others have suggested try using the main booking tool but I admit that often this will not show the EK codeshare flights when connecting (which is why I assume you used the multi city tool in the first place).

I was getting similar errors when using the multi-city function.

I changed the two last flights (CHC-SYD and SYD-MEL) to a single (CHC-MEL) and then used allowed alternatives to select the (CHC-SYD and SYD-MEL) flights (for some +$).
