HI All,
Mrs Reggie has a question, she has someone flying from LHR to PER on QF on the evening of the 2nd of May, and they want to bring extra luggage with them namely a set off golf clubs. They have no status, and being over the date of the changes she is a little confused. Can you please confirm if the following is correct;
The normal baggage allowance is 23KG Each andas tickets were booked prior to May 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] this amount can be in morethan one bag.
Sporting equipment can be included as part ofthe checked baggage allowance, Golf bags are carried as baggage and are exemptfrom normal linear dimension restrictions, so it is just the weight - andthey cannot weigh more than 32Kg
A maximum of two additional pieces may be purchasedin advance per flight. A maximum weight also applies for each additional piece,in this case this is 23KG per extra piece. The excess baggage rules arechanging on May 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] and theadditional baggage allowance can be purchased from May 2[SUP]nd[/SUP]. This can be purchasedbetween 7 days before departure up until 3 hours before the scheduleddeparture. Due to time difference she here in Australia can purchase and have the excess baggage receipt tothe pax in the morning of May 2[SUP]nd[/SUP]. In total they need to purchase an extra 2additional pieces ( 1 for golf clubs and another for an additional bag).
The baggage allowance can be combined so longas no one piece weighs over 32KG
TotalBaggage Allowance - 92Kg
Does this all seem correct?
