QF Classic Award Ticket without FF No. listed

Hi

Today I made a QF classic award booking and the E ticket that came shows my frequent flyer number as blank.

I can see my booking when I logon to my frequent flyer account and I also understand that I do not earn points on classic award booking anyway but just wondered why it has not linked as when I was booking my freq flyer number was included in the booking page. Is it because I had to add my middle name when I was making the booking that caused it to drop off?

Can anyone that redeems classic often often explain this and advise if this is an issue

Are you the only one named on the eticket.?

Between myself and my partner we have 3 award bookings for later this year.
The booking with partner and myself on the same eticket does not show my FF number but shows partners (booked using my QFF points)
The other 2 award bookings are for ourselves separately and our QFF number shows on those respective tickets.

i remember ringing Qantas about this when I booked and flew another award seat last year and from memory they advised that if 2 QFF's are on the same booking, the QFF number does not show for the QFF person who made the booking and used their points.
Seems strange, but that's what I was told.
If In doubt a quick call to qantas will put your. mind at ease.

I have separate award bookings for later in the year, on both Qantas metal and Emirates metal. FF number only appears on the bookings flying with QF, not on the bookings with EK coded flights. When both Mr BB and I are on the same QF booking, both our numbers appear.

My classic award booking is for myself. my wife and my son. During the booking process I made sure I had my frequent flyer number listed but i did not include the freq flyer number for my wife or child


When the ticket was issued it listed freq flyer number as blank for all passengers - but when I logon to my Freq flyer account I can see my booking there but still not linked ie blank where it says freq flyer number in the ticket box


Looks like a QF programming thing and maybe due to me including my middle name in the booking whereas my frequent flyer number profile only has first and last names

It does if you want Qantas to recognise your status on the flight. Also helps for the potential op up which may occur.
