Sitting in the SYD Dom J lounge for the first time in a couple months. A bit manic with delayed flights left right and centre but at least self-serve buffet is back (probably has been for a while) but what’s with all the cheap disposable plates and cups? Apparently that’s been a fixture for the last 4 wks or so?

Dishwasher is under repair.

Well, at least the delays allowed us to grab a plastic of wine…

I wondered about that, when I was in Sydney last week. As I was travelling with three others, I went into the QP with them as I couldn't guest them all into the J Lounge, plus I was curious to see what the place was like as I hadn't been in there since 2015. The plastic cups, especially for the beer and bubbles was quite confronting. Still, I would have got the same it seems, if I had been in the J Lounge.

That’s what my friend was told 4 wks ago.

Why would they lie? It's costing them extra money and doesn't look good for their green credentials.

Probably waiting for parts from China. I had a friend in Brisbane whose lift was out for over a month due to lack of parts.

Not suggesting they’re lying but yeah, the “green” credentials is not a good look.
