Has anyone actually emailed QF and received a response about these enhancements ?
I wish they would get rid of VB and Heineken from City Flyer flights and bring in Pure Blonde and Crown Lager which is served in the QF Pub! The price of these is the same as a carton of Heineken! After a few drinks in the QF pub, its difficult to stomach a warm VB on board!
That could work.Just a crazy thought, but perhaps they could have both!

That is typical in Canberra - even flying J and SG/WP you only get your bags out in some rational fashion about 50% of the time. I know there are a lot of WPs and higher in Canberra but still......
I had checked luggage to Canberra last week for the first time in about 300 domestic flights. I proactively solved the problem by having a beer on arrival in the QF J lounge. When I got to the carousel there were 3 bags going around. Just mine and my two collegues. That's what I call priority baggage :!:
I miss the curry!Yes, I have emailed QF. I told them how much I enjoyed the beef pie with potatoes and peas, rather than the usual inedible curry or pasta. It is an Australian airline after all.
It looks like the footy dinner is no longer being offered as dinner.
Flew SYD-ADL last Friday and I was served a relatively nice (although slightly oily) hot dinner of Braised Chicken in Garlic and Shallot with Rice and steamed Chinese Broccoli.
I miss the curry!
I have never had an issue with priority baggage either. Most times I get personal phone calls letting me know my baggage is ready for colletion.![]()
Receiveda voice mail yesterday, apologising for the pie and that my complaint will bepassed on to the catering team. Not really what I was after, seems like a bitof a cop out.

AFF Supporters can remove this and all advertisements
I don't know, probably a commitment that it won't happen again or that they have forwarded the complaint to the strategy team... But it is Qantas, so probably should be thankful that I was at least given a phone call..

I'd consider it lucky you even got a phone call
While the "feedback" will likely go nowhere at least they called you
