QF domestic return - consequence of no-show for outbound leg?

My thinking was more the mechanics of having multiple sectors in a PNR and missing one woukd (normally) invalidate the rest (which as madroister pointed out is the case when international, or non QF flights are introduced).
And a through domestic fare with connections?

I wonder if this is Amadeus functionality?
I think it's more an airline business decision.
I know missing a QF domestic connection to UL, the UL sector will cancel pretty much straight away. Where as you miss a UL international flight to QF, the QF flights will still be there.
Both Amadeus users in that example.

If one sector is missed in that situation, it still wouldn't cancel or suspend the 2nd sector.

Best practice is to call QF and get them to formally delete the SYD-HBA flight AND also "suspend" the ticket coupon.
Interesting. Assuming deleting the sector puts the seat back into inventory and suspending the coupon brings the itinerary back into sync with the ticket so that it can be re-issued?

Yes. Hence why I described it as best practice to get QF to formally cancel the segment and also suspend the relevant ticket coupon. It keeps things in sync and avoids breaking the QF manage booking functions.

Not according to the example from @madrooster above:
24/02 MEL-BNE-CNS (on a through fare ie. a MEL-CNS fare with connection in BNE)
You want to no show the MEL-BNE but still board the BNE-CNS. You cannot do that as your ticketed route was MEL-CNS.

The system will not cancel nor suspend the BNE-CNS ticket. It will still be available to use and fly on in a real life situation.
