If the flight/travel period covered to the end of Nov I'd be re-buying tickets to qualify for DSC but ... well, it doesn't

The wording on gift vouchers has almost been identical for each of these promotions and they are right. Gift vouchers do not earn SCs.

But I'm now more confident that flights booked with gift vouchers will continue to work as there's clearly a distinction between booking and travel period dates and they are separated by an 'OR'!

Yes I have the eticket.
It's just that the amount is still pending almost 6 days later in CC statement...

Same here. I'm not worried because I have the emails dated in the DSC period with the PNRs and tickets.

Yeah i did not end up making any bookings either, couldn't get clarity on upcoming work travel and any other personal trip need to be after August due to having zero leave. Refused to book something just for the sake of it.

I will make Gold before the end of my FF year without these, although would have been nice to get there before my JFK-SYD flight in terms of seat selection and before my Qantas Club expires - guess I will renew then have it get paused when I get to gold.

If you are after lounge access, would AA Admirals Club one-day pass be available and work for you? Might be cheaper than renewing the Qantas Club.

I can salary sacrifice qantas club, get corp discount and will use it on a number of domestic trips (purchased before this offer), work trips, and flights on QF to SIN, SIN to LHR. Am contemplating doing my MBA next year so limited travel so after my gold expires I will be reliant on QC until the following year where i can fly enough to get it back.
