QF Double Status Credits - Book by Feb [Now] 25, Travel Feb 25-Aug 31, 2019

I have bizarrely noticed a pattern with my DSC credits. I am getting a very reliable 2 day credit of outbound DSC followed by 6 or 7 day crediting of the inbound leg. I am looking to trip up QF IT this time around, since I booked this trip with a double horseshoe booking where my next inbound flight is actually the first outbound flight of a second booking. If it takes 6 or 7 days I am going to be seriously concerned about QF IT's knowledge of my travel movements, or their investment in ensuring I wait for WP on return.

I'm getting the reverse: four to six days on outbound from Australia and a solid two days for the inbound. Note: this is possibly not all for the DSC promotion for the thread title.

Does anyone know if there is a way for travel agents to utilise QF voucher PNRs or are they strictly for use via the QF website?

I asked our corporate travel agent this question before and they said they couldn't. Perhaps someone else could corroborate?

In case anyone is interested, delayed bookings are still working with this promotion.

This message will self destruct after it has been read....

My first DSC flight (DRW-MEL) on Tuesday has now had the extra SCs credited.
The second flight was MEL-AKL so we'll soon have a reference point regarding the posting of overseas flight DSCs.

All flights from Tuesday to today have credited their original SCs.

Similar to you...
AKL-SYD-DRW received 2 of 2 DSC
DRW-MEL-AKL received 1 of 2 DSC
All on the one booking so seems a bit strange...

Looks like my calculations were wrong and I'm 25SC short from hitting platinum - not ideal since I don't have anything planned in the next month.
Will need to search for any cheap/short trips.

Perhaps a return trip to MEL/BNE with Flex Y in one direction or a trip a little further afield that earns 15SC in each direction.

My final DSC flight was on 28 March and all DSCs posted on 01 April, including domestic and international flights.

Interesting - I was just looking at some flights from last weekend, and the outbound has had its DSC credit. The inbound not yet - I guess I will wait a few days more for the inbound...

Just as an extra data point as I had promised to update - all of my flights (the inbound and outbound) across the 2 PNRs that I have travelled so far (I am half way through both) have posted within 2 days of the flights, so this is consistent with my experience so far, that the outbound legs seem to credit quicker than the inbound legs, even when my inbound leg was actually the apparent outbound leg but on a 2nd PNR (confusing, I know).

Not what I’m after (I want to go further and later in the year) but if you get it and it suits you it’s a nice offer.
