What is the time period that needs to be waited out before missing DSCs from this promo can be chased up ?

When will I receive my bonus Status Credits?
Bonus Status Credits may take up to six weeks after completion of travel to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

It’s usually 6 weeks but QF generally wants people to wait 8 weeks.

Have a read of the T&Cs. It will confirm what the promo conditions were. If it says 6 weeks then chase up after that.

I was issued with a credit voucher after cancelling an original booking made under the promotion and have just received DSC for the new flights (with a completely different routing) using the credit voucher...

good stuff.IIRC the credit vouchers use the same (original) PNR so that kind of makes sense.

Best of all, I didn't have to pay any change fees for the new booking - there was a lengthy delay with the original flight so I called up QF to cancel it without any penalty and decided to fly VA instead...

DSCs from a double yolk posted overnight. My thanks to the resident double yolk guru!;)

I had sworn off status runs, but when an offer appeared at similar rates to the old AA runs I couldn’t help myself.

An overnighter to NZ at $2.38/SC was too good to pass up.

It’s locked in another year of WP... and given some planned international travel with the family next year, I figure it was worth it.

Whether I extract ~$1k of value via award access, lounges etc it yet to be seen. Ask me at the end of Q1, 2021.

I haven't yet received the DSC for a trip I took about 5 weeks ago. Previously the DSC have always credited a few days after the flight credits.

I booked this one during the promo period, but it didn't ticket properly and my credit card wasn't charged. I had to call up and get them to manually ticket, but the eticket wasn't created and sent until a few days after the booking period ended.

I assume I will need to get on the phone to Qantas and politely request them to manually credit the DSC as well?

Today's observation
DSC from deferred bookings post much more reliably for red-e-deals, than for flex fares.....

It’s over .... and I’m left with 3 unused GV...
Well at least they will save you the credit card fees on 3 bookings in future!
I used one to book my holiday in Nouméa next week, forgetting the difference between the offer expiry date and my membership year end on 30 September.
So I used my last one to book a quick weekend in Cairns earlier this month as a status run to make up the shorfall!
Used the money I had saved on the airfares to Nouméa because of the Pacific sale, so no net cost from that perspective.
And I got 3 dives in so win/win!
