could it be that it's the non-QF metal flights (eg. run by UA/AA) being affected by USD/AUD currency fluctuations? The MEL-SFO ones I'm looking at have changed again today! (up another $30)

For the last few weeks Lax has been $1348 (now $1400) and DFW $1550 (now $1600)
