Another benefit of the I class is cheap flights to europe. I haven't seen them advertised anywhere (even on QF/BA website) so perhaps it is fare combination trans-tasman + ex-Australia to europe?

Ah - got an email about this special see British Airways

Still no link on the main webpages for BA or QF, and no advertising that I can see (other than the email).

Note that a person has to have "New Zealand" specified as their home country before that page will work (otherwise will get a "Page Not found" type error). Just an annoying little BA quirk!

The Australian page is now up (and I assume you have to have "Australia" as your home to see it as well).
British Airways

While the are ok prices compared to normal BA point-to-point fares, poor value of course compared to other deals available in the market and esp. DONEX's etc.

I like the NZ prices better. Remember they are in kiwi pesos, and include the same flights as ex-Australia PLUS trans-tasman flights (so more points, SC or miles).
