Hi all,

I’ve tried researching this on the various Qantas website pages and searching the forums (and web more broadly), but still not 100% clear so thought I’d best ask the collective brains-trust of the AFF community….

My partner, who is flying separately in Y and is QF PS in her own right (was SG, but has slowly dropped down), is booked on QF-branded codeshares on EK metal from PER through DBX, then onwards from DBX>BRU. If I transfer one of my QF lounge passes (I’m QF WP and also have one of the oft-derided QF Titanium MasterCards) to her, could she use these to:
a) access the EK lounge in PER prior to first leg (EK fly from Int’l T1, otherwise she could use the QF business lounge in T3–alas, not an option)?
b) use a second lounge pass to access an EK lounge in DBX during her layover there (and if ‘yes’, which lounge(s) could she access)?

Do the lounge access passes have ‘status’ levels and if so, are these from the level of the original owner that transferred them? I.e., does my QF WP status help at all?

I’m sure the answer is probably ‘findable’ but I’ve been unable to find it—any guidance greatly appreciated!

The short answer is Qantas lounge passes are only for Qantas lounges and sometimes not even then (Qantas run Los Angeles lounge these passes do t work). Sorry.

Oh! Thank you, I didn’t realise we had a special thread for this. Will check there and see if I can move this into that. 🙏
