I'm used to booking my international itineraries online usually with the one airline. With an upcoming trip to MNL I really like the schedules of a combined tix on QF & CX. Is there a way to book a combined itinerary online?

When I try and use webjet or Zuji I don't get the preferred combination of flights.

I'm thinking I might have to go to a travel agent.

Any thoughts?

You will have extreme difficulty flying to or from Manila on Cyprus Airways (CY).

Cathay Pacific = CX

And yes, to have complicated itineraries like that you may need assistance of a travel agent. Bear in mind that these type of itineraries are usually much higher than the cost of a return with the same airline.

I'm in for a long Monday...and even longer journey if I go via Cyprus.

I was hoping that being 'one world' that there might be some codesharing. It's interesting that Brisbane is such a backwater that nobody wants to fly direct from MNL-BNE (once per week with QF on a Monday). The I find that nobody wants to fly direct HKG-BNE on Thursdays.

It's one of those itins where I am going to have to rationalise cost verse time verse convenience.

Interestingly, when I have been looking at the options QF with variations comes in around $1,600. SQ with it's schedule via SIN just keeps popping at a price of <$1,100. For the $500 saving the extra hours sitting in a SQ jet isn't a bad way to save $$$.

The quickest way BNE-MNL now appears to be VA to Darwin and then connect to Jetstar to MNL all in about 11 hours.
