E.g. HKGx-SYD-MEL is $20 more expensive than HKG-MEL. The ex HKG legs book into T class ... what would the SYD-MEL sector book into? Y? B? Q?

H comes to mind, although I'm certain to be wrong.

ex-NZ PE fares book into Business over the Tasman (where required). So perhaps if the fares look good that is a better starting point?

I may call tomorrow, but what are people thoughts on the booking class for any domestic Oz connections.

E.g. HKG-xSYD-MEL is $20 more expensive than HKG-MEL. The ex HKG legs book into T class ... what would the SYD-MEL sector book into? Y? B? Q?

BNE-SYD-HKG books into B for the domestic leg.

TT legs book into I (if available)

And ~NZD2660 ... 280 SC's.

BNE-SYD-HKG books into B for the domestic leg.

This is correct (currently have one awaiting ticketing BNE-MEL-(HKG)-LHR-CDG-LHR-(BKK)-SYD-BNE and domestic legs book B class) but tossing up MH J for about $1k more per pax. Similar flight times etc.

Hmmmm....

T,R and W all book into:

B for aus domestic segments

B if booked as QF codeshare on AA for us segments

Y if booked as AA on AA for US segments

This is if booked by a TA who knows what she/he is doing. No idea how an online purchase ticket would go.
