I can't seem to work out the QF table.

Can someone advise if we get QF SC's and points if we fly economy on Air Niugini metal and Air Niugini ticketed flights ...
a) between BNE and POM; and
b) domestically in PNG?

Looks to me like you can earn QF points on PX international flights, but no status credits (unless you book a QF flight number). You also can't earn points on PNG domestic flights.

Qantas Points are earned on all eligible booking classes, except Air Niugini domestic or codeshare flights operated by an airline other than Qantas.

According to the partner airline earn table, the points earn on BNE-POM would be as follows (SCs are not earned in this case):

It's actually not a biggie, but why do you say SCs are not earned?

The calculator seems to suggest yes to points, but no to SC.

I did the calculator and it seemed to suggest to me they were. I'm confused.

The previous entry in the link provided by Mattg is for airberlin. It starts by saying: "Qantas Points and Status Credits are earned on...", however if you look at the words for Air Niugini: "Qantas Points are earned on...". Notice how one specifically mentions status credits and the other specifically does not. That's probably what I would work off.

The following link also seems to suggest no to SC: https://www.qantas.com/fflyer/dyn/partners/airline/air-niugini

Did you change the airline?

On QF code they are earned.

My experience, with numerous flights on PX both internationally and domestically, confirms the above. Points but no status credits on international sectors; nothing on domestic sectors.
