I'm in the process of planning yet another work trip and trying to actually figure out points/SC earn on a sector that well, isn't even listed on the QF calculator so it isn't very useful to me.

As we all know, there is the AA/QF joint venture which has always led to even AA marketed and sold flights to be earning at respectable rates out of Australia and NZ through to the states.

I'm looking at booking AKL-DFW on AA (their new direct flight) but can't for the life of me figure out SC/points earn. The calculator has AKL-LAX which no longer exists and AA / QF codes earn exactly the same (and very nice too). I'm assuming that AKL-DFW will fall under the same joint venture rules even though the calculator hasn't listed it? Unable to find the actual points/SC for it either. Anyone here have any item what potential points/SC earn would be - not sure to use the partner table or the QF based table

It’ll probably come in under the “All other flights” category. Being about 7440 miles, it could earn 160 SC / 9400 in J

That's my thought too. However I was semi hoping it would be a special arrangement like the old AKL-LAX route that AA operated pre pandemic that gave 160SC/20000 points in J
