I haven’t been following the repaint schedule since the pandemic started since a website called ‘The Qantas Source’ was deactivated around 2020. That website gave information about specific QF planes getting repainted.

A fair portion of the A330s and 737s remain in 2007 livery; are Qantas repainting, or planning on repainting those remaining aircraft considering they will stick around for at least the next three years all the way through to the mid 2030s?

AFAIK, the aircraft generally get a mid-life repaint (10-12 years), and they don't specifically do it for new liveries.

This thread on airliners.net is probably the best tracker.

As above repaints are often on a 10-15 yo basis, as you can see in the 737 fleet where the middle ones mostly have SilverRoo livery.

Wouldn't surprise me if the oldest 332s (EBA-EBD) and some of the oldest 737s are retired in the 2007 livery.

Id guess that when the 330s enter the shop for refurbishment later this year they'll get a new paintjob too.

But yes i suspect the ones that are slated for retirement first likely won't get updated.

Repainted or a sticker?
EBV possibly due for a repaint.
Unsure, but the aircraft flew to MNL, which is typical for QF A330 repaints. If it was a sticker then it could have been applied in Australia, like what was done with the Olympics decal on VH-ZNH.

But yes it could just be that the plane flew to MNL for heavy maintenance and the sticker was able to be applied there.
