Any guesses as to likelyhood of a QF-EK Europe sale soon (need Y+ for Oct 2013)?

Last I looked HKG pricing was OK but SIN pricing is much better and much easier to get weird routings for almost the same cost.

What sort of weird routings have you got for SIN? I've booked a family member on a MEL-PER-SIN and open jaw HKG-PER-MEL JASAs in January which will get them WP for the first time.

I think it's a farly safe bet that, when the QF-EK deal gets approved, there will be a sale. But not sure how long it will take to get the approval .............

You would hope they would. I want to travel to UK next August. Virgin Atlantic & CX = $3,500~, QF $6,000~. Flippin joke, if you want to support local business you pay dearly for it.

I have had SYD-MEL-PER-SIN as part of a return ex-SIN airfare. If one manages to book a V class or above then the double domestic SCs come in handy.

It is also not too difficult to split itinerary on multi-city to something such as SIN-PER and then PER-BNE and all of a sudden connections it throws up connections you would not normally see. Sometimes the airfares are not that much more expensive.

Anyone know if QF likely to release a Business Class International Sale anytime soon? 2 for 1 would be awesome.
