Hi all

I just did OLCI for my first status run flight tomorrow. SYD-cbr-SYD. Th first two flights are on Dash8s. Having checked my BP I notice I am SEQ Nbr 1 and 2 for my second flight. What I weird is that I am in 6C and 5B for the flights.

All seats ahead of me are preallocated/not available for selection which to me implies that on the Sunday after Xmas there are 20 QF WP allocated ahead of me. Does this seem normal or is this a fare class issue (I am on a red-e-deal).

It's not that big a deal as it is only a 50 min flight - just curious...

On the other hand, it could be lightly loaded in which case trim issues with the plane come into play.

I Think OZ mark, is correct here,,

I have seen the same issue in the past on light loads,

Thanks - didnt think of that. I will report back tomorrow.

And now OLCI seems to be down for my other flights :(

That would make more sense about the load distribution, now of course they may free up those seats later if loads increase and means you dont get them with is sort of silly. Then again i dont think there would be a whole lot of last minute buying on that route :)

I have noticed seat availability can change if you complete your OLCI and then immediately log back in to change the seat selection. New seating options immediately arise.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.
