I'm used to seeing seats showing not available as a lot of my travel is last minute. However, I'm flying on QF63 and 64 at the end of november and there are seats actually missing - not showing occupied, just not there. On 27th to Jhb on 63, 14/15 ABJK, 16 A/B, 18 A/B and 23/24/25/26 JK are just not showing at all.

Slightly intrigued as to why they just aren't there.

They'd be reserved for the South African Airways codeshare.

I had the same thing occur last week with my flight from ICN to SYD.

I was ticketed as QF 368 and only had about 6 rows in the entire plane I could do seat selection from.

The flight was actually operated by Asiana Airlines (*A member) so I assumed the remainder of the seating was reserved for *A members/tickets.
