QF site down?

Is anyone else getting redirected to a basic flight search page currently?

I just tried to login to the FF page which I keep as a bookmark and I get this:
Frequent Flyer - Temporarily Unavailable
The Qantas Frequent Flyer service is currently unavailable due to maintenance.
Try again later or contact us on 13 11 31 (in Australia), elsewhere contact your local Qantas office.and the link to the home page brings up the search page that Flashware mentions with this message.

I can't seem to get a temporary page in Australia but managed to get one via the NZ site address :!:

Early this morning it was down - in fact it was pretty bad. I got the Temporary page, but with absolutely no text (except for the Qantas logo, i.e. graphics, and the origin/destination drop down elements). :shock:

It was up again in the morning to lunch period, then down again a bit with a proper Temporary page.

As of the time stamp of this post, it's all good.

I notice there's a new annoying ad on the front page... similar to when the A388 launched. It's in regards to the points transfer. I wonder if that was the reason for the downtime

The ad was there first thing this mkorning before the web site failed. It is still there.

I'd block flash for Qantas.com if such action did not make the site basically unusable. :-|

I have too, sometimes it only has frames and drop down boxes, without all the text. Try using another browser and refreshing and clearing of the cache might help ....

I wasn't sure if it was just because I had a dodgy connection here in China at first, but yes, it's definitely a little 'variable' this morning
