Happy Friday afternoon all!

I've booked some flights with QF which include somes legs with CX/KA, as it is booked/ticketed all by QF, will my QF Plat/OWE be passed to CX for the legs that I am flying with them?
I know when booking directly through CX the status does show on the boarding pass but as this is the first time i've had mixed QF/CX flights on the 1 ticket I am hoping that the status does carry over.

Last question is as I will be checking in at MEL will the CX flight BP issued in MEL on QF BP stock have my status too? or will I have to visit the CX transfer desk in HKG to get one printed out on CX stock?

I just don't want to have any lounge access issues on my trip, so want to make sure my status will be printed in every circumstances :)
:)
Thanks in advance for your responses!

I don't expect you'll have any issues as long as your details were included when making the booking. In fact watch how CX look after OWE's better than QF does ;)

hehe, yes I know that part for sure, on recent directly booked CX flight we got double op-up'd from Y to Y+ at T-30 then at T-7 we got opup'd from Y+ to J I am OWE and +1 was OWR at the time.
Not too mention the greetings every flight, extra's like champagne from up the front, evian from up the front, etc.

CX will definitely have your QFF number and status. That being said if this is an economy booking, the CX leg may not earn if in a deep discount fare bucket.

Thanks that's what I was hoping. it's booked in L class so will earn points but more importantly SC's :)

Have you had a BP issued by QF for a cx flight before does it show status in that circumstance? Or will it only show QFxx_xx_x?

I've previously booked a CX flight through QF and no problems at all with my status showing. When you check in you'll be given an invitation to the appropriate lounge as well as your BP.

I've had excellent service in Y on CX at as SG & WP, given extra seats, upgraded and even brought wine, wife nix as silver but once I mentioner her it was all roses, inc upgrade to J.

What I mean is qantas issuing the boarding pass for a cx connecting flight using qf check-in system on qantas boarding pass paper etc.

I have a leg booked in CX J from HK to Singapore... any idea on how many SC that will earn?

I've travelled SYD-HKG-PEK on QF/KA – the QF BP had 'FF PLATINUM EMERALD QF', whereas the KA BP (issued on QF stock) lacked the 'platinum', but still had 'emerald'... no issues using the F boarding line, and received a greeting on board – so the status was carried across. :)
