If you book in F on the EK 388 with but the QF8xx_ flight number, do you get F points and SCs ?
If so might be a goer for my DSC - 480SCs (return flight from mel) is nothing to scoff at. Plus get to experience their suite albeit for only 3.5-4hrs.

Yes, you get F points and SC's if you book the QF flight number. EG: MEL-AKL rtn in J is 160SC so F would be 320SC therefore 640DSC. Not sure what EK388 is?

Hmmmm I've got it as 1640 miles meaning 120 SCs in F meaning 240 for the return.
Double that for DSC and you get 480 SCs.

I never knew F to be double J more like 50% more ?

But if it recently changed I certainly won't be the one complaining !

388 = A380
EK 388 = Emirates A380

My apologies, not focusing.

MEL-AKL rtn is 160SC in J so in F would be 240SC so 480DSC.

The points earning calculator on Qantas doesn't recognise NZ F yet and I stupidly doubled the J SC earn rather than the 50% you point out.

I better get back to what I'm meant to be concentrating on and leave AFF for later.

In short, yes. The long answer; also, a yes.
