"...We’re working hard to make things better still. (🙄..). Across the Group we’re expecting 11 new aircraft this year alone as part of ongoing fleet renewal, and in the months ahead we have some exciting (gulp...) announcements on lounges, destinations, and Frequent Flyer developments."

Uh oh.. exciting developments = QFF "enhancements" incoming?...🤔

Lounges = PHE? ADL? AKL? SYD?
Destinations = JFK? HKG?

This was pre-empted here:

Also accompanying the letter was a behind the scenes video that looks at the IOCC amongst other things:

BXG for sure! 🤣
The new terminal in Bendigo is actually coming along very nicely!
However if they could build back the schedule to how it was so that I can depart ex-SYD in the evening and depart ex-BXG early in the morning that would be great 😆

back of public toilet doors are more worth reading.

QF just wanted to get out a message regarding the flurry of engine issues / turnarounds of late, yeah we're safe yada yada, but my fav line was, "Looking at our own data" yeah no probs uncle Alan.......stage left!

And I think most AFF members are more concerned with the recent issues with award booking/ticketing failures and getting real assistance for real issues via the contact centres than we are with the recent floury or report of flights returning or diverting with technical issues. At least that is my take on the priorities of members comments I have read here.

Routes - BNE-ORD back on? SYD-SEA?

Lounges - Has to be SYD J lounges (both D & I)

FF program - New major ground partner.

Maybe only status members in AU?

I only got the 20M points giveaway competition email

Or maybe the emailings are staggered not to be hit by spam filters

Absolutely. But I think this fluff piece and related media sensitivity clearly suggests QF is worried that once this orgy of post- covid travel calms down (and I reckon it will, esp as this recession bites discretionary spend) and things het back to "normal" the great unwashed are not going to forget how cough QF has treated them and this significant reputational damage QF is carrying will hurt them. They are going to need to pull something extra special indeed out of uncle Alan's er....bag of tricks (more than a DSC promo and $50 sorry vouchers) to win back the minds and hearts of the many lost souls...

Unfortunately we are but a mere blip on the QF radar.

I repeatedly read these types of posts on AFF over and over yet their planes are taking off every hour of every day virtually full.

There are thousands of such posts across all threads going back years with similar dire predictions

I was thinking last night, we're about due for the six-monthly Project Sunrise re-announcement? Anyone want to guess/place a bet on when that will be?

That could be the Sydney Auckland New York ?
