dunno - they are losing bookings though (yup still not working)
Well if you have to fly them have you tried the aa.com option?
What about other country QF sites?
It is strange that it is only happening to you....as I just checked my own profile, dummy booking etc.

While it maybe something to do with my settings (which I can't alter), it isn't just my computer that is having issues as I've encountered the same on other computers (eg in lounges, internet cafes, etc).

No, other country sites on qf.com also not working. And no aa.com isnt an option here. With this much hassle, I just book with another airline - QF misses out.

Never had a problem - any computer, anywhere. Logged in or not logged in.

I would have to agree with that statement. The QF website has been one of the most stable I have encountered.

Might be the right time to log the problem with QF!
one step ahead - already done this, no response as yet
Has QF got back to you on this?

I can view my account okay but anything to do with bookings seems to not be available
How is this manifesting itself? Does it simply hang when you try to go to a bookings screen?

I have had few problems with the QF booking engine with FireFox. I used to get 'not responding' messages until I set the "dom.max_script_run_time" in "about:blank" to 25 (up from 5).

It seems strange these problem come from any computer. If you go into an internet cafe, sit at a PC, fire up a web-browser, enter Qantas.com, select an origin (from an international or domestic specials drop box) and then click GO without doing anything else, what happens?

"the page cannot be displayed"

I'm not saying it is everywhere, but the few places I have tried lately have all had this issue.

I havent heard back from QF since they asked me some more questions last week (to which I gave the answers as best I could).

Some settings needed adjusting. As to why they worked before and suddenly stopped working - no clue.

I have this problem occassionally accessing FTP sites - even the FTP site of our head office in the US. There are a couple of IE settings that
when changed, seem to revert back to default settings, but only sporadically.

Firefox doesn't seem to behave this way (yet). Maybe IE7 will be more stable??

Dunno. Yeah it is possible the latest update changed the settings.

Even though it took a while, it was good that QF followed up (and fixed the problem) without further prompting from me.

Was the change to the setting on your PC or changes at QF's end?

at my end

the implication is that some of the other computers I have also been having problems with, may continue to have problems if I don't have access to the settings (as is normally the case at internet cafes, airline lounges etc)

I can't book flights on the QF website this morning.

I have tried on both our MAC and PC.

Is anyone else having difficluties with the Qantas website?

Seems to be fine now. Perhaps a rush created due to some 48 hour NZ flight sale!
